ḤADĪTH OF THE DAY

“ The Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said, “Whoever prays the dawn prayer (1) is under God’s covenant of protection. So take heed that God does not call you to account due to forsaking His covenant (by abandoning the dawn prayer).” Footnote: (1): (Fajr) The first prescribed prayer of the day that takes place before sunrise. ”

Sunan at-Tirmithiy كتاب البر والصلة باب ما جاء فى رحمة اليتيم وكفالته

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عِمْرَانَ أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ الْمَكِّىُّ الْقُرَشِىُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِى حَازِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَا وَكَافِلُ الْيَتِيمِ فِى الْجَنَّةِ كَهَاتَيْنِ. وَأَشَارَ بِأُصْبُعَيْهِ يَعْنِى السَّبَّابَةَ وَالْوُسْطَى. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.
The Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said, "The supporter of an orphan and I will be in Paradise like these two." and he showed his two fingers (the index and middle fingers). Click on ḥadīth to read more
